Overview

This is a replacement for the mail2news.pl Perl-script presented in the Mail2News mini-howto written in Python. A comprehensive list of mail2news-scripts can be found on http://www.newsreaders.com/groups/groups.html.

Features

• feed the article directly into a news-server
• generate a rnews batch-file for UUCP connected sites
• plug-in interface (filter-out advertisements, ...)

Usage

mail2news [-n|--nopipe] [-p|--prog=<program>] [-r|--rnews-batch=[<filename>]] [--plugins=<list>] <newsgroup>
