Seemingly, the previously reported memory leak in PyXPCOM wasn't the only leak affecting JabRSS, so I continued my search for memory leaks and found another one in Python's getaddrinfo. Although it's already fixed in recent Python versions, it's still present in Debian stable's Python 2.2 package. :-(

I have backported OpenVPN 1.4.0 to Debian woody, the package is available here. I also discovered a somewhat obscure bug in the new 1.4.0 release.

With the ever increasing amount of spam I receive, I have decided to install bogofilter to automatically filter out the spam. The Debian woody package is available from my Debian page and the exim configuration if available here.
