I have added a "TRAFFIC" option to xinetd's log_on_success configuration which will log the number of forwarded bytes (in each direction) to the log for redirect services. I have also posted the patch to the mailing list.

My provider has informed me that my virtual server will be down for about 1 hour tomorrow between 01:00 GMT and 04:00 GMT for system updates. I hope that JabRSS will come back up automatically when the server is booted again...
