I have just noticed that four more IPv4 /8 address blocks were allocated (see IPv4 allocation atom feed or IANA Announcement). Given that five of the remaining seven /8s have been reserved for the exhaustion phase, IANA's IPv4 address pool will probably be depleted by January or February next year.
My guess is that APNIC (as they appear to burn through two /8s every two to three months) will put in the final request for two more /8s in January or February next year, triggering the final IPv4 address allocation and the exhaustion phase. This means that RIRs will start running out of IPv4 address space to hand to LIRs a couple of months later.
