Just returned from a few days holiday in the Scottish Highlands (Fort William for Ben Nevis and the Mamores, and the Isle of Skype for the Trotternish Ridge and the Cuillins). Weather was a bit cold and cloudly, so I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked, but I will be adding some to my digital photo album in the coming days...

I have to say I quite like the Beaglebone Black - the CPU is much more powerful than the Raspberry Pi's and it can run modern Linux distributions unmodified. The only things to be careful about is that it only has a single USB port (so you'll likely want to connect a USB hub to it) and you'll really want to use a separate 5V power supply (and not try to power via the mini-USB port, as it will likely not be able to supply enough power).
Having said that, the Raspberry Pi is still useful, but it's now just a test system for NetBSD (which works fine since the release of NetBSD 6.1)...
