  • get the TCP/IP configuration from a DHCP server if your OS supports it
  • otherwise use the following settings:
    • obtain the IP-address from a bootp-server
    • netmask: 255.255.0.0
    • default gateway: 172.16.0.1
    • primary Nameserver: 172.16.0.2
    • secondary Nameserver (if supported): 172.16.0.1
    • domain: intern.htl.fh-sbg.ac.at
  • Socks support
    • Socks host: proxy.intern.htl.fh-sbg.ac.at (172.16.0.2), Port: 1080
    • local IP addresses: 172.16.0.0, mask: 255.255.0.0

  • Proxy configuration
    • ftp proxy: proxy.intern.htl.fh-sbg.ac.at, port: 8000
