About a month ago I still thought that a domain transfer can't be that difficult, but meanwhile I have learned otherwise. My new Web space provider seems to be responsive to questions, but I have the feeling that I am told fairy tales (I have been told that some SPAM filter at web.de might cause authorization e-mails from the prospective registrar (DotRegistrar) to disappear). But the registrar told me that they cannot process the transfer because they are unable to verify the registrar of the domain (but the registrar can easily be found out at PIR's WHOIS search). Well, I am confused...

You might already know that SQLite will be bundled with the upcoming PHP 5.0 release. So I took a look at SQLite with PHP 4.3.2 and even got Drupal working with it (although the PEAR DB library seems to slow it down a bit).
