It seems most Web applications don't do any input validation. They just trust the browser and the user to not mess with the data. So I guess they don't do any security tests either or think about security issues.

I have moved more than 750 pictures to ImageEvent. So all my pictures should now be available again in all resolutions.

After about one week of downtime it is back online. It's definitely not a highly available system, but that's what you get if you don't (have to) pay for it.

I have chosen imageevent.com as the hosting provider for my digital photo album. I have written some scripts to facilitate the process of uploading all my pictures and have already transferred more than 200 pictures.

I am in the process of moving my pictures to another photo hosting provider (away from netSnapShot.com which doesn't allow outside links any more). As this also requires me to move a few hundred MBs of pictures it will take some time, but it should be completed in about a week.
