One of the coolest features of ELinks is its scripting support. It doesn't allow Web-sites to do useless things in your browser window, but it does allow you to slightly modify the behaviour of the browser. For instance, it allows you to rewrite a link when you click on it (e.g. to strip-off personalised information/session data or to directly go to the printable (and more readable) version of an article instead of the overloaded online-version of that article). Do I have to say that I am really impressed by this kind of flexibility?

I have just filed a bug report against Debian's mount/util-linux package. umount fails to remount a filesystem read-only if the "force" option is also used.

Fixed a bug in Directory Administrator 1.2 and put a new Debian woody package for Directory Administrator 1.2.1 on my Debian package page.

Moving your complete user database to LDAP can get quite tricky (at least if you want to get it right). I have updated my Quick-Start Guide to LDAP with solutions to some of the obstacles on the long and stony way to full LDAP support.
