A BusinessWeek article spreads some interesting rumours, saying that "there's growing consensus that the company will have to sell off its wireless business" and that Alcatel-Lucent may be forced to replace Russo with Christian Reinaudo or Mike Quigley.

As mentioned some time ago, I have now moved edge.cmeerw.net to a new (virtual) home. This means that I have also enabled my SixXS IPv6 tunnel and tried to enable all services for IPv6. As expected, there were a few minor issues: the PAM rhosts module doesn't support IPv6, jabberd2' IP-based access control lists can't be configured with IPv6 addresses (will need to send a small patch) and mcabber doesn't support IPv6. And btw, my own SIPFwd also doesn't support IPv6 yet...

Also note that there appears to be a trend to drop the "Lucent" from Alcatel-Lucent...
