I have been mostly offline this week because our Internet gateway broke down. I will be offline for at least one more week as I am travelling to Keutschach, Carinthia with the Lebenshilfe Salzburg next week.

Well, JabRSS was down for most of today. One reason was that jabber.at was down (it did accept connection requests, but was unresponsive), the other was that automatic reconnects didn't work in that particular case (I will file it as a bug report to JabRSS). Of course, the bug in JabRSS should be fixed, but I am also considering moving JabRSS to its own Jabber server, see my previous blog entry about jabberd2.

xinetd 2.3.12 has been released which includes my patch to add traffic logging for forwarded TCP/IP ports. My Debian woody package is available here.

With the just released jabberd 2.0.0a6 it is now possible to build it with LDAP support on a Debian woody system. Well, in doing so I discovered and reported a bug.
