cmeerw.org is still being hosted at ITSpace.de (now being operated by keyweb.de) because Global Interactive wasn't able to transfer the domain to their registrar Dot Registrar.

I have been mostly offline this week because our Internet gateway broke down. I will be offline for at least one more week as I am travelling to Keutschach, Carinthia with the Lebenshilfe Salzburg next week.

I have found and a reported a bug in PowerDNS's parsing of SRV records. An updated Debian woody package is available from my Debian packages page.

Well, JabRSS was down for most of today. One reason was that jabber.at was down (it did accept connection requests, but was unresponsive), the other was that automatic reconnects didn't work in that particular case (I will file it as a bug report to JabRSS). Of course, the bug in JabRSS should be fixed, but I am also considering moving JabRSS to its own Jabber server, see my previous blog entry about jabberd2.

xinetd 2.3.12 has been released which includes my patch to add traffic logging for forwarded TCP/IP ports. My Debian woody package is available here.
