SIP -> PSTN gateways seem to become more common these days, but the cool thing about sipgate.de is that you can get a fixed line telephone number (in Duesseldorf, Germany) forwarded to your SIP account there for free. Technically, you don't "own" the number because sipgate.de is just running a big PBX there.

I have finally updated my Exim4 packages for Debian woody to version 4.30. Please note that the exim daemon now runs as "Debian-exim", so you might have to update you configuration. Packages are available here.

Trying to fix a race condition yesterday I introduced a more serious bug that I only noticed this morning. But as I didn't have the time to fix it, I had to take JabRSS down for most of today. Now that I have fixed the bug, JabRSS is up again...
