Sun Aug 22 13:34:19 2004 GMT: Lycos VDS Update

It seems that the Lycos people have really been working hard over that past few weeks to get their VDS systems more stable.

One of the more interesting points of their setup is that VDS client systems are not associated with a single master system, but each client can be moved to a different master after a reboot (supposedly depending on the load of the master systems). Lycos seems to be using either Dual Pentium III @ 1266 MHz or Dual Xeon @ 3.2 GHz systems as VDS masters.
